How is Herpes treated?

The Herpes Simplex Virus has two types and your Better2Know test will tell you which, if any, you have. While there is currently no medication available to eliminate the virus from the body, there are many treatments which are effective in reducing both the severity and frequency of any outbreaks. Various creams and medications are available which serve to keep the outbreaks under control, with reduced symptoms.

What else should I get tested for?

If blisters, cuts, sores or general lumps and bumps are a concern for you, Better2Know’s Blemish Screen is the most suitable testing option, using a swab sample to detect three harmful infections. This screen not only looks for both Herpes I and Herpes II but also Syphilis and HPV.
